These two people have found something very special with one another. That was evident from the moment we met them in downtown Manayunk for their engagement shoot. They wanted to do the shoot there because they live there, in their house (yes these two very young bucks own a home already! OH YEA...and because their little dog lives there too. We got extremely lucky with some gorgeous afternoon light streaming through every nook and cranny of the city. The shoot went so well, we knew their wedding would go just as smoothly.
When we showed up to Megan's childhood house to do prep shots no one was there except for her father. However, she meticulously left all the details out for us to photograph before they showed up and all happy mayhem broke out. The flowers were outstanding and I noticed how gorgeous they were right away. Shoes : gorgeous...Dress : Stunning. We had some nice me time before Megan and her girls showed up.
This wedding may go down as the steamiest wedding we have EVER shot. Yes, yes...they were adorable together...but in this case, I am talking temp. It was SO muggy and misty. It rained throughout the day and the humidity was memorable. For some brides, this would be a hard thing to get past. Not Megan, she wasn't phased. We ended up doing all of their formal photos outside in between rain, mist and humidity. So glad these two braved the weather for us and left the documentation up to us. We had a blast!
