Engagement Photos in Jersey City with Jillianne & Adam

Jillianne and Adam are the kind of couple photographers dream about—chill, funny, totally in love, and just excited to enjoy the experience. From the first conversation, they said:

With trust already in place, I knew this engagement session was going to be something special.

We met up in Jersey City, one of my favorite places to shoot. It has all the personality and edge of downtown NYC—but way less chaos. Think cobblestone streets, cool architecture, waterfront views, and cozy backdrops all in one walkable spot.

The day could not have been better. A light breeze, golden hour peeking through the buildings, and that kind of perfect weather that makes you wish you lived in the city again. We wandered through side streets and quiet parks, pausing for laughs and candid moments. It felt more like a fun date than a photoshoot—exactly how it should be.

We wrapped things up by dashing (literally) to catch the NYC skyline at sunset. The light was just right, and the energy between them made the whole evening magic. Sometimes you just know when you’ve captured something good.
