A relaxed New Jersey barn wedding with real moments and lasting memories

There's something special about weddings that never feel rushed. Christine & Justin's wedding at Five Birds Farm was one of those days where everything unfolded naturally. Beautiful weather, an incredible venue, live bluegrass music, and a couple that was simply excited to marry their best friend—it all came together for a wedding that felt authentic from beginning to end.

As Pennsylvania wedding photographers and videographers, these are the kinds of celebrations we love documenting. Genuine moments, real emotions, and a story that deserves to be told exactly as it happened.

A Laid Back Morning Getting Ready

The day started with a calm energy. Instead of feeling rushed, everyone seemed to be soaking in every moment leading up to the ceremony. We spent the morning capturing all the little details—the dress, the rings, handwritten notes, quiet conversations, and those moments that often become some of the most meaningful memories years later.

Alongside our digital cameras, we filmed throughout the day on Super 8 film, giving Christine & Justin's wedding an authentic vintage look that perfectly matched the timeless atmosphere of Five Birds Farm. There's something about the texture and movement of real film that simply can't be recreated digitally.

Exploring the Grounds for Portraits

After the ceremony, we wandered around the property creating portraits that felt true to Christine & Justin. Five Birds Farm offers endless opportunities for photography, from its rustic barns and open fields to quiet corners that catch the evening light perfectly.

Rather than posing every moment, we encourage our couples to simply spend time together. The best photographs usually happen somewhere between the prompts—when they're laughing, talking, or simply taking in the fact that they're finally married.

We continued capturing these moments on both digital and Super 8 film, blending cinematic movement with timeless still photography.

Capturing Weddings That Feel Like You

Every couple celebrates differently, and that's exactly how it should be.

Our goal is never to manufacture moments but to preserve them honestly. By blending documentary photography, cinematic filmmaking, and authentic Super 8 film throughout the day, we're able to create wedding films and photographs that feel just as real years later as they did in the moment.

Christine & Justin, thank you for trusting us to tell your story. It was an absolute honor to be part of such an unforgettable day.

If you're planning a wedding at Five Birds Farm or anywhere in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or the surrounding area, we'd love to hear your story and help preserve it in a way that feels completely authentic.
